I became thoroughly familiar with all of the Policies and Procedures regarding Title IX and its implementation within our institution. I am pleased to have this in place.  

I learned more about Florida Admissions: Complying with the Rules and Regulations and how to Stay Compliant and Understanding Consequences of actions made that are non-compliant.

I learned in more detail, about some of the regulatory statutes, rules, and regulations in Florida.

I love that they are regulating advertising and that each institution is required to comply.  

Honesty and integrity as well as knowing all policies, rules, and regulations, will keep your institution compliant and trustworthy.  

I learned about the state licensing board and the statutes, what they entail and their governing practises.  I also learned that the knowledge about how these rules, statutes, polices and proceedures impact the abilities of my job.  I also have learned how to put together a resourse and checklist to maintain those polices and proceedures, according to the State's legislation.

Connecting with various departments in my institution, as well as discussing topics and information with my senior staff and attending classes in a great component to learn more about the various programs and their intracacies.  

Check, check, check and check.  You can never know too much about the institution that you work for, or all the different facets of each program. My institution has a great check list for each file.  I will keep my notes from here and use it alongside of our "checklist".  

Hello, this is my first position as an Admissions Representitive.  I am learning the correct proceedure (FAC) and further explanations neccessary to communicate fully to each prospective student as they progress through the application process.  As I have been going through the training of information in my institution's cataloge, this course further defines the steps and reasons for those steps.  This acts as a way to further the process for understanding, which then intern aides with retaining the information given.  Now when I am in front of a student, I will better institute the steps, and provide the right language… >>>
