I usually have two versions of the test so if there are any absent students it lessens the chance of answers being shared. I also send the student to take the test in the library while using an instructor proxy, this lets the student have quiet time instead of trying to take the test while in a noisy classroom since all other students have taken it already they will be on other tasks.

I find pre-tests useful when you have a very diverse group with multiple learning styles. It can give you an idea of where more of your time needs to be spent and keeps the student from being bored.

I have many tactile learners and need to find a balance so that my tactile and my audio/visual students can co-work at the same time. I find one group gets distracted when we are using the other styles of teaching.

I found this educational for my field and did learn some new tools for my trade. I also found that some of the things I am doing in class are correct and being utilized in many classrooms. Thank you

I try to make sure I use many teaching styles per class as to catch everyones attention and make them successful by playing to their individual strengths.

I found many helpful hints andgood information in this course. I found an especially good piece of information about the IEP and how it is not law for anyone who has graduated highschool or is over twenty one years of age.

Just good refresher for hints on topics we all have in common with adult education..

For me it seems that when I allow students to pick paper topics they are more motivated to do a good job. I have also added a project that includes interviewing a family member or friend and write a report on their personal medical issue. I find that it gives student some real life prep for patient care.
How do you deal with a student who always has a devistating event week after week. I don't want to doubt the student,as there may be that much stress but how do you ensure your being caring but at the same time tell them they still have those requirements to fill?
