As an instuctor, it is important that we address our student with disablities correctly. We must not sterotype student because of there skill level.

Universal design should be apart of the building code for all public buildings and use not just for people with disablities. It makes it easier for the entire population of individuals that attend the college or university.

Having equal access to course material and campus is very important to a student education. Although they have a disablitiy, they deserve the same rights as other.

I teach students with all types of disablities and it takes patience. Everyone does not have the care or the patience. Some of the students you have to put your foot down at times to calm them down to let them know that you are the authority figure. But once that is established then you donot have a problem. You also have to understand there limits and what they are capable of doing and not doing. So teaching students with disablities require time and effort.

As an instituation is it important to know that Human Factor does account for input error and things of that nature. But we must be careful and follow all rules and regulations.

It is extremely important for the exit interviews to explain to student their obligations of repaying for the Loans that funded their education. Students and parents have to understand the repayment cycle, deferrement and default of loans and what affect it will have on their credit and for taxes purposes.

When students are inquiring about the school, factual information is needed to help students make effective decisions to attend the instiuations. Student need to be made aware of the financial obligations, course programs and how the school will benefit their life. This gives them a purpose for attend the intstiutation as an advancement in their career and for their family. Misleading statements only hinder the process and causes confusion and frustration when student find out the truth. And possible lead to legal actions.

As an instuctor it is important to make sure that we stand in regulations and compliance with school and federal guidelines. We have to be the first partakers of setting the example for our students to follow.
