One thing I have learned is information within the higher education system is constantly changing. With that said, it is imperative to attend all meetings and trainings so the representative is not only up-to-date but also so the student is getting proper information so they can make an educated and well informed decision.

Student services is not only crucial for the student so he/she can utilize the full benefits of being a student at the institution but also crucial in highlighting a schools features and providing benefits. I know I would have been lost in the mission of pursuing my education if it weren't for the Library and Resource Center. It's imperative during the interview process to understand the needs and wants of the student and highlight the services offered so he/she can get the most of their education.

Understanding the legally binding document, the Enrollment Agreement, is crucial if we expect the student to understand and comprehend what they are signing. How can we prepare for student questions or concerns if we as representatives are not informed ourselves? If a student were to ask us what something on the enrollment agreement means and we read it and seem puzzled ourselves, this would cause us to lose our credibility with the student and worst of all trust in the professionalism of the institution.
