Multiple evaluation techniques are viatlly important to revising your course.

Multiple evaluation techniques are necessary to make the course as good as it can be.  

Providing objectives and guidelines prior to an assignment and individualized feedback after an assignment will create a better learning environment.

A good syllabus is one that is ever changing based on feedback from the students.  You should routinely ask what should we stop doing and what should we start doing in an effort to help the students reach their learning objectives

The most important thing for me is knowing my audience.  It really doesn't matter what the objectives are if I do not present the material in a way that the students can understand and absorb.
