Miguel, Awesome! I love this description of how you use the technology in your discipline. Capture and distribute also mean the learning can go beyond the immediate group or space. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Miguel, That is true and the contexts of learning expand and are enriched by the varied inputs and connectivity. This also changes the overall expectations of the students and must change the role and focus of the instructor. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Melanie , So research, exploration and discovery can become front and center of the learning process. Awesome!! Stagnant material can be challenged and the learner can become fully engaged throughout. Dr. Ruth Reynard

Stanley, so, combining the interactive board with blue tooth or mobile technology makes the learning environment seamless. Great points! Dr. Ruth Reynard

Thomas, Great points about work readiness - the technology also enhances the thinking/teaching and learning processes by increasing interaction, engagement and collaboration. These are skills employers look for as well and they improve student academic success. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Kathy, Yes, case studies are a lot more holistic than tests - also scenario-based questions and discussion encourage students to apply what they are learning directlu to contexts of meaning. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Kathy, Flexibility in both delivery and mediation are both central benefits to this mode of instruction. Flexbility in time and space and flexibility in content delivery, interaction and application. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Thomas, I agree, Thomas. Certainly the various input possibilities can provide diverse choices for students, however, these must be intentionally designed into the course interactions, delivery and mediation of the course. Dr. Ruth Reynard
Richard, Do you mean simply using technology or having their learning process mediated by technology? Could you elaborate?...I would love to hear your ideas on this. Dr. Ruth Reynard
