About me

My name is Rob Tripp. I have been in the service, research and education fields for over 20 years with experiences ranging from elementary school special education, experiential wilderness education, university administration, post-secondary teaching, and network administration. I currently work with a non-profit running a statewide database for homeless service providers.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Religion from UNCW, a Master's of Science in Higher Education from Florida State University and a PhD in Educational Leadership from the University of Nebraska.

I currently live in Wilmington, North Carolina with my wife and three children.

Understanding that the adult learner comes from many different backgrounds, has many different life experiences, many different motivations for coming to school, and many different learning style preferences is a key to creating a successful learning experience.  UTilizing different types of assesments is part of this process.
