Bringing students into helping with making the rubric can enhance student motivation, interest, and performance.

A good rubric is reliable and fair for all students.

Self and peer assessment gives students an chance to learn how to assess their own work and that of their peers.

I feel using a rubric is vital to the students knowing what is expected of them and key points they must cover. Rubrics can be very time consuming to create.

Collecting data and techniques are great when used to assess learning in educational games and simulations in general. You will see who needs more help and address those students.

Cooperative learning are learners working together to maximize their own and each other’s learning. It is best if the students are engaged in the game to learn.

I think the entire gaming community is very connected with all very similiar likes. They play with thier peers like a community of gamers.

In my radiology course we have games and they are really helpful for the students to learn by repetition.

Critical thinking dosen't come easy for many students they must do more than just listen they must read, write, discuss or be engaged in solving problems with their peers.

I find the rubric is so helpful for the student they can visualize what they need to incorperate and what is expected. The instructor can concentrate on activve learning.
