When your online lesson doesn't work it is very frustrating for the instructor and students.I always have a back up plan for this reason. 

I think its important to engage the students and they to need to be self directed learning.

I think the layout is extremely important to the course so the students can find everything they need quick and easy.

Communication is key and providing feedbackto the students is extremely helpful.Engaging then makes the learning process  so much easier. Being available for them as well.

Whether the class is synchronous or asynchronous or mix of both the information must be organized and presented in a consistent manner so the students know what is expected of them. A well organized class helps the students tremendously then they know what is expected of them.

There are many different teaching tools that are available. It is up to the instructor to find what works best for the class.

What I learned from this module was keeping the student engaged and what motivates them. Importantance of reaching out to students who may be absent. Also understand the importance of creating alternative ways for the students to contact me.

I learned how important time management is for the student and a calendar is so helpful.

It is important to assess student basic technology usage at the beginning of the course. 

Being a great online citizen is good for all the students.
