Very Informative

This course was very informative for me. The topics discussed can sometimes even relate to your personal life. A lot of the information I have learned before but it was great to have a refresher course with some new tidbits that I wasn't aware of!

Separation of Duties

An example Organization structure that has a clear separation of duties would actually be our financial aid department. We set up the funding but are not allowed to authorize the disbursements.

Exit Interviews

For our grads we have a group exit where we go over a bulk of the information. Then the students sign up for a one-on-one interview where we can go over their specific numbers and questions.

Misrepresentation

In order to avoid misrepresentation, new employees should be sure that they know the correct answer. It is ok to let a student know that you are unsure of the answer but that you would be happy to get the right answer.

Student Access to Course Materials

Students can receive their books at Grad-prep. If for some reason the student can't stay to get their books they are given a sheet of alternate times that the library will be open.
