Wonderful course! I really enjoyed the format. There is so much information out there with these regulations and interpreting legislation isn't exactly the easiest thing to do. It's nice to have everything laid out in a format that's easy to understand. I feel that I retained a lot of what is presented. While the golden rule can definitely serve as a back up, we all need to be familiar with the specific regulations. I am much more confident about my ability to work compliantly as a result of this course.

I've been in admissions for about 3 years at another institution before coming to Delta, but, despite that experience, I have a lingering question that has not yet been answered for me. I understand that we are not allow to "encourage students to enroll before seats for the upcoming enrollment period are filled and/or tuition prices increase." It makes sense to me that we should never pressure students, especially when it comes to costs and financial aid. On the other point of that statement, I need some clarification. Personally, I like to think that an informed student is a happy student. To achieve that goal as an institution, I believe that it is important to accept that there is no perfect. Here are some things that I keep in mind: - There aren't 100% completion rates or placement rates. If we honestly acknowledge and make no excuses for our numbers, there is no need to hide anything. - If a student has problems with the information disclosed, find out why.
