I am always looking to bring "real life" into the classroom. I love the crisis situation. So many time s I have had students comment that they didn't think that working in the doctors office could be so stressful and demanding. We give them the skills and knowledge but little bits at a time and with the crisis we can create a crisis in the office, but do it in a realistic way to have them better prepared on what can happen on a daily basis. Even when it is another "employee" not showing up for work.

I have beeen teaching in the career collages for over 6 years. A Lot of the information in this course was not new information to me. As I was going thru, I started to do a self-assesment and I have forgotten the importance of all  the different ways for the delivery of content. I teach some of the same classes over and over again and I think that I have started to gear the flow of the classes to my needs instead of all of the students.
