I feel it's important to provide clear information to individuals interested in the school.The more information provided will increase the individuals level of security in enrolling in a program.

To assist in setting realistic job placement expectations,during the last week of class I take time to discuss proper interview etiquette.I remind them the school will provide them with the knowledge and skills for employment however they are individually responsible for presenting themselves as a future employee.I share my experiance of interviews in management.I am able to share simple things that will assist in a positive interview that could assist in being selected and I share examples of things that could keep a potential employer from choosing them.

In the beginning a simple statement would start a huge class discussion among the students, at first I would say ok lets get back to work- After a few times I changed my statement to since we are all familiar with the topic lets go forward with a pop quiz for this section.This method has worked and now discussions are kept short and some students will say lets discuss this later before we get a pop quiz!!
