About me

Experienced, even expert, bedside nurse and nurse administrator with roots in nursing in that "My mother was a nurse."  Bringing this experience to the learning community and taking teaching of patient concerns to a different level with nursing students learning about patient concerns. 

Activity

Liked the 5 point scale with negative points for disrupting the classroom.  Respected the examples of how disrupting the classroom learning can be as simple as a student leaving the room during lecture.  Thanks.

Interesting about the Stars, B players and the Low performers.  I appreciated the comments on how to handle the Stars in class;  they are often the ones who answer questions and participate in discussions, to the detriment of the other students.  Pulling information and paying attention to the middle performers, of which an organization or classroom could be as many as 75%, is crucial to the success of the whole class, in my opinion.  Helpful.  Thanks.   

Alot of good common sense information included in ED 101.
