Hi Stephen, I appreciate your point of view. On the other side, online learners offers an opportunity for more individualized attention, so it can afford opportunities for more dialog and communication between the student and the instructor. Tina
Hi Lee, I agree with your comment about asynchronous learning as the most effective. Most learners who choose online learning, do so because they can learn anytime and anywhere. Tina
These are great motivating comments Lee! Tina
Hi Nathan, I think these are important questions to answer. I also think that learners have specific expectations for how the instructor will interact, so I recommend that you include information about how you will participate in course activities. Tina

Hi Jeff, do you use a variety of technology applications to support different learning styles? Tina
Thanks for the clarification Michelle. We do the same thing using the Paul Elder Model of Critical Thinking to support our interactions with learners in discussions. Tina
Hi Michelle, can you expand on how you have learners use Bloom's Taxonomy? Thanks. Tina
Hi Scott, in some respects the social interaction is enhanced online and there is a much more equal balance of interactions from everyone rather than a few! I think blended learning provides the best balance! Tina

Hi Michelle, the first week is showing 50% participation in one section but the other is only about 15%. Feel free to email in a few weeks to ask about the learning lab: tina.stavredes@capella.edu Tina
Hi Brian, that is awesome that you have online advocates. I agree with you. Distance learning is not for everyone! Tina
