I think that it is very important to have campus security especially with all of the situation that has happened at some of the other schools. I know that on our campus our security is very direct and really ensures the safety of our school, students, and staff. The rules are enforced and those that violate are reprimanded.

I think that it is important to give students accurate information. It is important that we are not giving students misleading information and making promises. We need to stick to the morals and values of the school only give out factual information.

I think that it is important to have disclosure and to ensure that students are given accurate information. It help protect the school and give them credibility to ensure that they are concern about the population that they serve.

It is very important to keep our students motivated and encouraged. Our non-traditional student face so many obstacles, that sometime when they enter there educational setting they are already frustated and upset. We must gain our rapport back with them and try to establish a positive, encouraging educational setting. We are not therapist, we should not be giving advice we should get control of our educational setting and focus on the daily lesson.

I think that it is important as an instructor that when we get tired and burned out that we must refocus. we have to get excited about what we are teaching and refocus our momentum to gain control of our class. When msut keep the moral and excitement up in our classrooms. When our students see us lose focus and drive about what we are teaching it really affects them. So therefore we must stay motivated, positive and encouraging.

It is important to make your non-traditional student feel important and that you the instuctor care about them. You have to establish a rapport with your student letting them know that you are there for them and that success in their educational needs are important to you also.

I think that it is important to have a strategy or plan for adult learners so that they don't get discouraged or feel intimidated. As an insturctor we must offer support and sometimes additional resources to help our adult learners reach their educational goals.

I really believe that it is important to set goals. When you set goal it give you something to work towards and when you achieve your goals it should be treated as an accomplishment. Without setting goals I have no drive or motivation to complete some of my tasks, but when I set goals and have a time frame I know that they have to be completed by a certain time.

The first week of class after giving my students a brief description of the course content and things they are going to be doing I require them to make a list of goals pertaining to the course. Throughout the quarter they are asked to look at their goals an see if they have accomplished any if not what do they need to do to accomplish at least half of their goals.

As an instructor you should present to your class motivation, enthuasism and energy to learn. The instuctor should also be very professional and knowledgable of the course subject and materials in order to have a successful course.
