students with learning disabilities in my opinion arent disabled at all. there mind is wired for a particular format of learning. the educational system saddly limits its teaching method to the majority or the learners in class. students with learning disablities tend to accell further in hand on technical skills rather than reading comprehention, and listening skills.

i like to stare down the students who have been being a distration and then put them on the spot and tell me how would they solve a problem using the information i just spoke of. the uncomfortiblity of the situation keeps them paying a bit more attention.
it is very easy to loose focus when learning anything. it is important to keep things exciting in the classroom. we need to keep the students interested in learning.

heat will always move to less heat. more heat-more resistance, less heat-less resistance. just like pressure, 100psi will not move into 200psi but would move into 50 psi.

when a student shows disrespect to the class he is showing disrespect to the teacher. pulling the student aside and talking to him "man to man" is a good way to earn the respect or the student. the student will then become more respectful to the class.
find a orgazational methods and stick to them. i have all ways been a fan of binders with post-its.
Getting to know your student can be difficult. Perhaps having all students write a breif essay on the first day of class discussing why they have chosing to come to yti will give the teacher a better idea of who and what kind of person there students really are.

a studens religion has a place in the class room as it does in the world. student need to learn to respect there peirs no matter what their beliefs may be. condeming, preaching, scare tactics and discrimination has no place in a classroom or society.

Teachers are the mold or stencil that the students will look to for there own sense of what is proper or vulger. The way we act, dress, and talk has a heavy influence on the student.
