The differences between asynchronous and synchronous discussions. This makes total sense, but I didn't think about this before. I learned the three different types of students, which of course is similar in a face to face classroom.  Working to pull those dependent students and avoidant students in can help them feel more welcome. 

Creating a good rapor with your students from the beginning will help establish relationships. Identify your credintals and work experiences will help gain their trust in what  you are teaching. 

That course structure is key. Having modules and within those modules we need to have lessons and then topics within those lessons. I need to have a clear understanding of the course content.
