There are times when you will speak with a potential graduate who is interested in a field they know nothing about. It is our job to guide them and ensure they know as much about the field as possible before they enroll into a program. I think this will give us credibility because it shows we care about the student's future as he/she may be a better 'fit' for a different career based on their talents and skills.
