Power Points

This section is very helpful with giving me ideas to make power point slides. I had never heard of the 10/20/30 rule. Very helpful stuff!

Berenice,
Good deal. It's good to hear you've found useable information that you can apply in your work.

Power points described in this module have really opened up my mind on delivery methods.

Berenice,
If educators are "craftsmen", then our delivery methods are part of the tools of our profession. And with this metaphor, every tool has a preferred use for a specific purpose.

I appreciate the different forms of delivering information to the students, the same whiteboard method can get boring. Change is always eye-catching.

Ricardo,
Great. There are always alternate methods to accomplish better outcomes. Hopefully, ideas generated from these forums assist with that hope.

Hi, The PP method is my saver, because i use it over and over again in different subjects.
I try to follow your recommendations on every slide and ... works!!!!!

Marlene,
Great. I think there is always a better way, or some way I can improve. I try to look at PPT slides from the perspective of the student -- "what would I get out of this if I was subjected to it?"

I enjoyed this section. It gave me new ideas regarding power points. I know that students get a great deal of power point throughout the week, so I know that variety is key, and make the power points more exciting.

Corey,
Students appreciate resources that help them, not bore them. Glad you found some things that help.
