I agree time is eveything. instructor must set the (model) example.

When we tell the students to be on time ,thats one thing ,when we set an example,thats being a
roll model.

i would have to completely agree. we definitly set the example. although there are things that will come up, by the students seeing how we deal with those complications and overcoming them, they hopefully will make the same correct decisions.

This is one of our roles as models to our students and fellow faculty members.

Yes I agree, being on time encourages the students to do the same. It also shows the students the instructor takes their learning seriously.

Yes, the instructor has to be the model and set the standards for the course. Those standards need to be based upon the requirements of the field for which the students are training. This gives justification for the standards and gives the students both the professional and technical skills needed to be successful.
