Planning and Preparation
Do not be afraid to ask other instructors in your department for input, especially is one is not as experienced as another instructor.
Hi Bradley,
You are right about the need to be prepared each and every day. To do less is not living up to your professional responsibilities as an educator. Plus, by being prepared the class goes so much easier.

I believe the key to a successful course is to have as many training aids in the class room at the beginning of each day; depending on the topic. Prepare all available training aids before the beginning of the class. Training aids are very useful to the students, thus giving the students a chance to put the item in their hands and inspecting the item in a controlled environment. You as an instructor, knowing what you are going to teach day by day should always come prepared to class with the test for that day, the training aid inspected and set up in the class room and ready to go when your students arrive.
