Lecture
The steps are very important to preparing a good lecture.
Lecturing is a important part of teaching. It is boring to most including myself. It helps to mix it up with life experiances and teaching aids. It helps if you do not read powerpoints word for word. Include personnel input on subject and research from different areas.
I agree. The more personal experiences they hear about, the better prepared for the field they will be and the more they know to expect.
The students seem to want real world experience added into the cirriculm so they have an idea about what to expect.I believe that we are teaching a career to these people, and to give them their money's worth we should prepair them as best we can.
iI like to stick to the subject matter but also add some personal experiences once and a while.
