Learning Activities
I find that it is important to keep students involved in the learning process. During lecture, i still try to have at least one exercise that they can et involved and feel as though they are actually part of and in charge of their learning experience.

I acree that activities are a way to break up the class. I like to play games or do group activities that somehow relate to the course material. Then I ask students how they can relate it to what we are learning.
