Instructional support

This section helped me in understanding ways to help my students with learning disabilities.

This section was helpful to me both professionally as well as personally. I have a child with a reading disability and this section gave me some good ideas to share with his teacher.

This section was very helpful in explaining the different types of learning diabilities. This helps me understand my students better and to be able to help them more.

I have never heard of this type of learning. Please tell us more!

Whats an alternative learner? I like the idea of highlighting or putting boxes around notes that are of importance.
Even students without learning disabilities sometimes have so much information they have a difficult time knowing what is the most important information. Just saying "read your book" is frustrating to all students.

I share with the student that I am a alturnitive learner.

Tom, don't be afraid to use them as the situation fits. Students will benefit because you will be able to show them how to compensate for some of their difficulties.
