If you have someone who has a learning disability like dyslexia would it be unfair to the other students if you gave them special help ?

No because the type of help and support you give them will enable them to be successful in the course. You are not giving them an unfair advantage you are helping them to process and comprehend content. Doing this through guided notes or graphic organizers is reasonable and needed in order for them to learn the material.

As long as it is not a detriment to the education of the whole group I don't see a problem with it. Maybe some additional time after class with that individual would be needed.
