Motivating All students
Motivation is key to students learning and wanting to learn. However, keeping all students motivated is a challenge. We all know that some students will never be motivated to do anymore than the required to get by. It is those students that keep me motivated to better myself and my teaching abilities.
I feel like I'm more motived to continually re-learn everything I teach than they are to hear it once.
Good tip..breaking the ice in the classroom I guess.

Try to connect your course content with their lives. The more examples and opportunities you can give for application and relevancy the higher their motivation level will be.

Its quite aggravating for me to deal with students who only want to get by the class by the minimum requirements. Are there any good tips for motivating these students to do more than the bare minimum?
