online homework and tests
I currently give all online homework and tests. However, this has given me the idea to possible try some hands on material for homework and tests. I will try to find a way tro incorporate this for my stedents. It should be very helpful for their learning experience.
Patrick, Yes! Online tests and quizzes do so much more than streamline our efficiency. They also help our students get quick feedback too. So there is a benefit to so many different people.

I'm a huge fan of online tests and quizzes. Students get immediate feedback, which they like and it helps me manage my time.
I definitely think that technology should be incorporated in the classroom with todays students, many middle and high schools have gone all electronic. In the career schools I am seeing that students are not using their on thoughts and words because the information is so readily available. I try to use both old school testing as well as online testing, etc.

With your answer, should I let the students to use cell phones during the class time?
Also, do we use facebook or other web-site (link in) as other teaching tool?

I agree that it should be very helpful to incorporate online material for your students. These days students use electronics for everything. It is hard to even get them to put their cell phones away while in class. I think that if we as instructors can stay up on modern technology, our students will be able to relate to our teaching methods more.
