Stress
Stress is everywhere. It is crucial for everyone to learn how to cope with stress. I feel just like the example provided of the nursing instructor. Being a mom, full-time job, part-time job, girlfriend, best friend, granddaughter. All of my roles and sometimes I have to be them to everyone. That can be stressful. We do need to take care of ourselves.
I find the best way to relieve stress is by eating right and getting the rest the body needs.
I AGREE WITH YOU AS A HUSBAND TEACHER PARENT IN TODAYS ECONOMY WITH THE DOWN SIZE OF BUSSINESS AND LOSS OF JOBS THEN TO BALANCE THIS STREE TO BE AN OBJECTIVE INSTRUCTOR TO YOUR STUDENTS, IN TODAYS WORLD IN JUST MY SHORT LIFETIME BOY HAS STREE HAS DEVELOPED SO MANY FACES
I have to admit that I fall into the very categories that have been mentioned here. I found it quite interesting to read how "stress" is defined as it puts things in perspective for me. Normally, I think I'm stressed because I'm inadequate to perform certain functions, and I know it's not true because I'm totally capable, so I end up beating myself up for not being able to handle the stress. Ultimately, it makes matters worse.
I'm very interested to see some of the stress help topics in the next segment.
when i find myself just a little stress. i make an appointment for a manicure and pedicure ,massage. i can say that i will do this once every three months. the whole weekend is for me and just for me
I agree about needing to take care of ourselves, but that doesn't mean the stressors aren't still there. What's really important is to find a good way to balance the needs of others with ours.
I wouldn't want to give up any part of my life, so I try to make everyone understand that it really is my life and not theirs to dictate. I make every effort to dedicate some time to every one of my responsibilities, but I make it clear to them all that it's me that determines how much time I can give. Sometimes it's more, sometimes it's less, based on what I can do at the time.
True, I often wish I could give more time than I'm able, but reaching the balance really helps keep the stress levels down, and in the long run the time I can give is better spent.
