daily stress in the work place

Try to focus on what is important. If that is done most of the daily stress will be taken care of. Take a few minutes daily to just close your eyes and picture a wonderful beach with birds. It is relaxing and before you know it you feel better.

If only someone in my workplace had told me or guided me to this program I would have had SO much less stress about this job. Almost every category described pertains to me! I thought that I was the only one out there who was having so much difficulty and stress!

Ms. Kane, I think your suggestion is a good one. If weather permits, I enjoy going to a local park for lunch that I brought from home, or something I bought to go. Just by leaving the confines of the workplace, I seem to be able to focus on other things in the environment, put what has happened at school that day in peerspective, and maybe how to answer someone who might be upset with me. By the way, we have no outside windows in our building. Perhaps good for students who are easily distracted , but I feel closed in, and miss seeing the outside. Thus, the park is a refeshing change in scene for me, and helps a lot to refresh me for the next round of classes. Strss seems to be under control when I re-enter the workplace.
