Filling in for another instructor

I am a new instructor and have had to start teaching for this term right after the midterm. Now the final exam is approaching and I see some concerning trends from when I started teaching and performance of students prior to me teaching. In this case what is the most objective way to assess a student's final evaluation in this situation? strictly work from documented grades?

I agree, stick to the documented grades. I started teaching in 2004 and I made sure that I kept a paper and digital copy of my grades. I found that you are doing something twice but if someone ever tries to dispute their grade, ie parent or student, I have the information at my fingertips.

Hi Noah,
Stick with documented grades. The grades are proof, if anything was ever to be said.
