generation gaps
don,t let the age differance get between you and your students
I can relate to having all age gaps also in my classroom. I use this as a advantage for learning so students can feed off others ideas and thoughts in a positive way.
This is an advantage to use the different thinking styles from all different gen's to help each other understand how everyone see's one thing and perceives it. I think it works great at times, and at times a little tough but useful.

I feel when there is a gap that only gives an opportunity for each student to see things from other points of view as they should when they are out in the work place.
I like to keep current with all generations around me so that it is easier to relate and instruct.
In all of my classrooms I have huge generational gaps between my students. I use these gaps as an advantage..

I agree. We need to be aware of the generational differences, but not let it become a barrier in our effective teaching.
