Generation Y Learners
Should 90% of the teaching to Generation Y learners be technology based?
Brian,
yes, this is why I believe the use of a variety of methods, illustrations, activities, etc is the key to success.

I think it is equally important for the Gen Yers to see something more than technology in the classroom. I relate real experiences and try to simulate those in the classroom. The technology won't always be the answer for when they need to react on their own.
I don't think that there should be a percentage. There are many types of technology and not are specific to each topic. It all depends on that technologies practical use in the real world. That is how I think they will best relate.
Lila,
good question. Personally I don't necessarily think this has to be the case. Sometimes the best way to reach them is to show them another way of learning & thinking.
