GENERATION Y?

This is a fun and exciting group, They need more hands on and comupter involvements. In order for Veterans or Boomers to teach this group, they have to be will to try activities that are not familiar to them in order to succeed as a generation Y instructor.

I had to chuckle as I completed this module, since the characteristics of the Gen Y almost EXACTLY describes my step-daughter! I learned a lot form this module.

Bill,
I think is a great way to open the dialogue & then be able to share various experiences that ultimately help all of the students to learn from one another & your various experiences.

Ryan Meers, Ph.D.

It's fun as an instructor from "baby boomer" generation to learn from the generation "Y'and how we have changed over the years. We have a good laugh at our differences and it relaxes the classroom.

Bobbet,
I agree & through learning the technologies & what they can do, we can use them more effectively in our instruction to Gen Y.

Ryan Meers, Ph.D.

Teachers who are from the previous generations have to become familiar with the technologies that are available for this generation. They have to keep up with technological advancement.
