Veterans
I find that veterans are very import in our society when it come to hire education they are eager and very enlighting to educate and communicate.
I found having Veterans in my class is an absolute pleasure. From my experience, they work extremely hard, take pride in all work, and share some great life experiences that coincide directly with my class.
I find that Veterans bring an interesting dynamic to my class with all of there experiences.
Robert,
and the realization of the bigger picture & "real life" is a great benefit of having vets in our classes.

Veterans are a very distinctive type of student. As a Veteran myself, I can identify with the way they are accustomed to learning, their art of speaking, translating information to what they can understand and apply to learning new material; they are very systematic. Incredibly wonderful kind of student to have in your class. They are leaders instead of followers.
I agree...Vets have a built in sense of teamwork.
Often this translates into students benefiting
from vets saying to them "let me help you"
Having numerous vets in our classes I find them to be very determined and structured and this tends to help with other students in the learning process too.I can tell without even asking when I have a class with them. Love having them.
Brenda,
they do contribute much to the classroom & have much to contribute to the other generations.
