Crossword Puzzles
THe books that we use for our term classes come with an instructor resource CD and that CD contains several different types of puzzles. I use them for every single term class I teach, because they can be used to assess knowledge and let you know where students may be struggling in certain areas.

I have used crossword puzzles as well for reviews and it has been a lot of fun for the students and very helpful for them.
Puzzles are a great item to see if the students have retained for terminology and anatomy and physiology. I use the puzzles right before an exam to see how the students are retaining information, and it cues me as to what I may need to go over for better understanding.
