It is important to use different methods for evaluating our students.

Evaluate continuously its important to make sure the course is meeting the expectations

I love this>>>>Spot-checking student learning is a way to continually evaluate the progress of students.  Tools such as  the one-minute question and the "three clear points, three muddy points" paper.  The one-minute paper allows students to articulate what they have learned over a specified period of time in one minute.  The "three clear points, three muddy points" paper allows students to articulate what they know and what they don't know or are unclear about.

Use multiple sources for learning what works and what doesn't work for the course. Revising the course must be evidence-based.

It is far better to use a variety of sources and methods in review than to rely on only one evaluation tool. Using homogenous data limits your view of your course, while expanding input form more stakeholders gives you a better sense of the course as it actually exists.

Understanding the material is key ot succeeding.

As an instructor it is my responsibility to use multiple, appropriate data to ensure that the students to achieve their success.

I believe in encouraging the students to read and research the subject matter on hand, so that they have a broader understanding of the course material.

I am concerned about the student's understanding the subject matter. Thereforeit is the instructor's responsibility to provide the students with every possible avenue that will enable them to master the material taught.

It is incumbent upon the istructor to ensure that the students achirve the maximum learning from subject matter.

I believe that the use of evaluation is crucial to the learning process. As it helps the instructor to see the progress the students are making during the semister.

I believe that the subject material should be relevant so as to get students excited for learning.

I have discoved the impportance of revision of lessons. I also believe that students need every possible support they can get from their instructor and therir peers.

Instructors shoud always remember to have multiple evaluations and multiple inputs from your stakeholders to improve your online course.

For 20 years I have had a system for doing this, course revision, if you track what you did last time you can improve it next time.

Always use mulitple evaluations and sources.

While I haven't had the opportunity to revise a course, I see the benefit of having my peers reviewing my redesign. As mentioned in the module, many of them are professionals and can offer a different perspective to the design, flow, and impact.

Learned Multiple evaluations are needed for learning. Get student feedback to change my course content. Using multiple tools to provide feedback that is needed to make critical, meaningful, continuous changes that enhance your online course.

Having students maintain a portfolio of the major assignments is helpful in evaluating the course, but may also be beneficial to the student in reviewing the concepts they have learned throughout the class. It can also be used as a comprehensive study guide. Pre/Post test are wonderful indicators of students progress in the subject over time as well.

I like the thought of reaching out to parents or other partys to get feed back.  This is a slipperly slope as well reaching out to parents as they often do not see or hear the whole story or process from their children.  Reviews are very important and we will continue to change and think of new ways to poll for new views.
