Learning from experiences to adjust accordingly for the class and still be within the objectives of the class. Get a lot of feedback from students to help with the adjusting for future classes to make it even better.
Make sure the guidelines for your classroom is set for you and the students so that there is less confusion
Even though I teach first grade, I would still like for them to have the opportunity to communicate with each other about the assignments they've been given to complete. If not the students, then the parents should be able to communicate with each other, too.
This module opened up some thoughts on how I measure accountability. I will have to explore some new ways of doing things.
Educators/instructors should use student/course evaluations, but that should not be the only measure of course success. Instructors should review students' posts and assessment measures to see if what was accomplished was what was intended.
My idea of constant communication is having one on one time with students who are having a particular problem with course. So if I communicate with them through discussion boards or emails. Keep them involved and talk about progress it will help all my students in the long run.

Moving forward, I need to better communicate the course expectations up front, as well as provide timely feedback to the students after they submit their work.
If I want to become a facilitator, I need to design my course to be self-directed, realistic, and have applications of the concepts being studied. Students will need to make their own meanings and discoveries. I will need to encourage participation and provide feedback and support.
I need to work more on my engaging students. I will utilize the techniques to promote interactions that was provided in this course.
Feedback and interaction are very important. Not just for an instructor but also for the students.
Timely respponse to questions and keeping answers succinct so they can not be misconstrued
Course facilitation is a constant, evolving process. Instructors must evaluate during a course as well as after to ensure that the course is meeting the needs of all students.
The use of discussions and how to mange them was the most important piece from this section. I have not been good in the past in using discussions mainly because I just didn't know how or take the time to figure out how to make them effective. This has given me some ideas on how to implement that component to my online classes.
