An instructor must take a look at their F2F course and decide how best to meet the needs of the learners. A variety of technology tools and methods should be used, but be consistant in the delivery of the course modules, so students become familiar with the layout of the course.

There are a few specific strategies I have learned from this module that I plan to integrate into my practice. For example, I found the use of podcasts particularly appealing. Also, I plan to improve o my response time to correspondences received from students. I have learnt that even minor delays can increase unnecessary student anxiey, and this is not a desired goal in creating and maintaining a conducive learning environment.

I am thinking that front loading an online class will benefit students especially if they are trying to balance multiple classes and possibly a job or other extracurricular activities.

Content should be engaging and make sure the layout is easy for the students to follow. Make sure to use tools that are appealing to the students learning process and remember to let your teaching style/personality come through too.

One must consider what is most important from F2F course and build into the online course.  Objectives should be the same but how learners reach those objectives will vary using online course method.

I like many, have had the challenge of convertng a face-to-face course to online quickly due to Covid-19. I can see the many elements I incorporated into class, mentioned in this course. I do see one element I considered, but did not deliver fully. This course mentions assessment both subjective and objective, is a neccesity. I only sought subjective assessment, but will now include objective somehow. Maybe include a pre and post quiz or a game with scores? I am not sure yet, but will do some research and include it.

Once you pick a layout that works for your online class, keep it. Consistency is key. You have to maintain a great level of communication and a level of trust with your students. Get to know your students!

Organization is also an important consideration in preparing content for online instruction

Going from F2F to online takes a lot of planning and research.

When designing online learning units, it is important for students to learn specific knowledge before moving on to more advanced courses.

This module emphased the “how” in phasing from F2F to online learning.  The 4 O’s helped me see what is needed:  consider the Origin (audience and suitability); Organization (how to deliver the content in an organized way); Orchestration (using latest technology develop/choose instructional and test materials); Outcomes Assessment (assess, evaluate and modify course)

I learned that we have to provide students lessons with interactivity as:  power points with audio and video feedbacks on performance and organization in the materials and course contents.

Organization, consistency and useful tools will help with the delivery of an online course.

I learned that you have to transform the silabi.

Considering the venue, teachers need to be flexible as they make words count.  All material must be clear so that little misunderstanding occurs.

I agree with everyone. Take the student into consideration when organizing your teaching strategies. Set your class goals and have your material ready in a week in advance for the students to complete.

it is important to use multiple techniques in engaging students in an online format and being willing to adapt as you see what works and what doesn't

I have learned how vitally important it is to organize my modules. This way, our students will have immediate access to information; and, I will be able to immediately edit and/or update my course module.

When being an online instructor it is important to have a delivery method that suits the instructor, and multiple strategies to help every kind of learner.  It is important as well to modify the delivery and strategies on the students needs.  I will consider these ideas in my online classroom to help my students succceed.  It reminds me of personalized learning and that should be an instructors focus.  "How does that student learn and what in my class is helping them?"

F2F vs online instruction two totally different animals. must be more creative and engaging with the students. yes using multiple strategies
