Get Your Students Hired
Just wondering if anyone has ever dropped a student and what the reason(s) were for cutting a student from a particular Chat or Topic. Actually, I was not aware that we could do that as long as the student was registered in our class.
I have muted a student, then pulled aside later to discuss why and redirect learning. Some high school students can be very immature in certain environments.
I have had situations where I mute the student. They can still read the discussion, but not contribute. I usually let that last for a week before I reactivate them. And I always tell them why.
