Marlene,
No one wants to feel that they are just another number. We want to be recognized for the individual's we are and that their best interest is truly at the forefront.

Marlene,
Admissions reps need to be great listeners. When you actively listen, you learn about your client, their needs and concerns and are better able to determine if they need further information in making their decision about school.

Patty Aronoff

Active listening is key. Is about having a conversation about whats important to the student and actively trying to unvail and discover potential opportunities or challenges.

I agree because if we seem like we are not listening to what the prospective student is saying they may not take us seriously and could be turned off.

It's important to listen to the needs and ambitions of the prospective students so that they will feel that you care about them and want the best for them.

Listening is a great asset, the student will see that we care about what they have to say.

Marlene,
The is active listening and good communication skills. We have to take an individual approach to every admissions interview.

Richard,
Good communication skills are key. You must be active in listening and articulate in speaking.

Patty Aronoff

Nicolas,
It is about finding the right match between the two. If the school is not right for the student or the student is not right for e school, we will lose the student and not have a graduate. A loss for everyone involved.

Patty Aronoff

its important to build good communication skills with the student in order to guide them in the best career path

If you give students unrealistic expectations for their graduation you will have a disgruntled student. It is important to llsten to them and let them know what the school can do for them or guide them to the correct organization that can help them.
