I am new to admissions and this is a great idea. I am a huge fan of binder and have info at my finger tips to look up if I have any questions. I think that the info in this binder will be a huge help for me in my new job and I love that this training laid out what should be on it. I have already printed out this part of the training and started my binder!

It is the center of doing right to your potential customer to make sure you present fairly, clearly, honestly, and provide them the best understanding as a consumer to make an informed choice about whether to select one of your programs.
Since the catalog along with the enrollment agreement constitute the contract between the student and the school it is very important that the language in one is the same as the other. Another very critical point is the language should be clear and easily understood to help the potential student make an informed choice.
Yes, Kelly, for sure the resource notebook is the best tool. There is way to much information to gather and keep up to date and is a "go to" information that benefits all involved in the process. Every time I pick it up there is something new to learn.
We have not yet incorporated the resource book yet in our institution and I don't know why! What a great idea...that works! Thank you.
Currently, I am just beginning my role as Student Services Coordinator for our private graduate university. However, we do have specific criteria when it comes to the admissions process.
IE:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution: With prereq. courses.
• An official GRE score report sent directly from ETS. The minimum recommended score is a 294 (new version) or 1000 (old version) combined between the verbal and quantitative sections.
- The test must have been taken within the last five (5) years.
• Four (4) references
• A minimum of 80 observation experience hours

Resume: Current Resume
And that is just to begin the application process.
Once applied, the student obtains at orientation a student handbook, University Catalog, Schedule of classes, Financial Aid Information (Given before orientation), etc.
Title IV funding is a big one at our institution. You wouldn't believe how many people don't know what it is! Also,"PPA" for our program participation agreement...
