Josiah,
Sounds like a great system in keeping compliant!

Our institution is using a file system where the checklist is the cover sheet and each item is checked off as it is received from the applicant. After all completed items are turned in, the application is then sent for review for admissions. Upon acceptance the file is then forwarded to the registrar.

Albert,
You are correct. We use a check list in every department and it is very effective. It is important to maintain acurate records when dealing with student relations.

That's a great idea. I will suggest that in my next meeting. Thanks for sharing.

Dilailan,
We should be experts and checklists keep us on track!

Tamanji,
Scanning is our best friend. Papers are forever saved and available to many. Just remember to back up the information!

Felix,
Thanks for sharing your process.

Reinaldo,
Having someone else audit the files is a best practice for compliance.

Jeff,
We love checklists! Compliance!

Theresa,
Many reps like the premade folders as they are all set to go!

Excellent news! Make the notebook your own.

Yes i am organizing all paperwork reguarding all admissions duties, rules, and regulations required and need for my job as admissions personal.

Our school is using a checklist to make sure nothing is missed during the admissions process.

Our organization utilizes a file checklist system that the Admissions Representative completes during every enrollment. This allows the Representative to ensure that they are in compliance with the enrollment paperwork requirements by the institution. A follow up on this checklist is done by the Registrar as files are input in the student database.

We have pre-made folders that can be used by all programs with a checklist for admissions and checklist for graduation. But after reading the replys, I would like to try to use the pre-made folders that are stipulated for each program individually. This way when there is an extra requirement for the program that isn't included in them all , it won't be overlooked as easily and will be included on the checklist.
