Crew services place an important role in what we do in admissions. Students want to see what the end game is all about. Providing position information that students can achieve after their graduation is a great way to achieve that.

We offer cosmetology, nail and esthetics programs. I learn about the jobs by looking at the website for labor statistics as well as visit area salons to speak with alumni and salon owners on a continuing basis. Those same owners notify me whenever there are opening so that we can post for new grads and alumni.
The University I represent offeres several programs, from Associate's Degree Programs all the way to the PhD level. There are 9 colleges that comprise our univeristy: School of Business, College of Social Science, College of Information System Technology, College of Humanities and Science, College of Health Science and Nursing, College of Criminal Justice, College of Education and College of Advance Studies and College of Continuing Education. I currently specialize in the college of business, but have advised student is health care and nursing as well.
I will research our institutions catalogs to ensure I am aware of all the programs we offer and the jobs our students qualify for from our intitution catalogs, brochures and by dialoging with student services personnel. The catalogs have information on all the programs offered by the Unversity but, the brochures highlight the programs our campus offers and the student services staff can update and further explain programs and jobs students may go into.
We offer different coding courses, web developement and mobile.
We offer programs in the health and medical field. therapeutic Massage, X-Ray Medical Tech-Medical Assistant, Vet Tech, Dental, Personal Training, Billing and coding, and Pharmacy. I am lucky because I am right down the hall from Graduate Placement Center and I have gone in and introduced myself to all of the nice ladies in there and they all have explained to me what their jobs are when a student enrolls. They help with resumes, cover letters, interviewing skills, jobs for while they are in school, internships, volunteer opportunities, and also job placement upon program completion. Talking to professors and the Program managers of each department also has helped me with hearing about the opportunities out there for our programs.
Working at the Golf Academy we are definately a specialized career program that is not for just anyone. You really need to have a strong passion for Golf and want to use that passion in a career that you will love. Our programs are specific to running a golf course as a general manager, teaching people how to golf, repairing equipment and so on. Specific classes cover specific topics but that being said we pride ourselves in the fact that when they complete their degree they also will have strong knowledge of management in a hospitality type setting. This degree can be used in areas other than golf.
We have one program which prepares students for a career in the Golf Industry. I will learn about the jobs student train for by spending time with the Director of Carees services and learning all the potential job opportunities that our graduates are obtaining upon completion of our program.
Our school only offers one program. Learning about the program will give me to interact with and give me an opportunity to get to know the instructors as they teach me about the different technologies available to our students that will aid them in their education.
My school offers Automotive technology programs which certify individuals in the automotive industry whether it is truck training or automobile training. We also have collisions courses for students interested in body work.
I am learning about the programs at our school by speaking with the program chairs and faculty. Career services has assisted by giving me info about job opportunities some of our recent graduates have received.
Our school offers Pharmacy Technician, Veterinary Technician, Therapeutic Massage, Hospital and Health Service Management, Personal Training, Dental Assisting and Dental Radiology, and X-Ray Medical Technician - Medical Assisting. I will learn about these programs, by talking with the education department and different instructors, sitting in on classes, and reading the course catalog.
