Niurka,

There are so many challenges when mixing work, life, and school. Often times motivational speakers can connect with someone that is going through similar circumstances.

Our team has a morning touch base to talk about any updates on rules and regulations, students, programs, etc.

We have daily meetings. Can never be too informed of what is changing in your role and any steps that you should take to improve it.

At our institution we are required to attend staff meetings where new information, updates and topics of interest are discussed. These meetings and training sessions also provide us the oportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the implementation or the challeges to implement policies, rules and regulations. They keep everyone on hte team informed.

we hold daily meetings to stay updated on what is going on in every department of the institution. The admissions department holds weekly meetings.

Every Friday at 8:30am all of the admissions team gets together to go over anything that anyone has questions about as well as something that our Director has seen any of us struggle with. This is also a good time to train about something that we all could improve on. We go over our total enrollments and our successes as well. Any upcoming events also get brought up during this time. We are given our training binder which has requirements listed as well as information about our institution. We also have a job description and expectation in our binder.

I attend weekly meetings with the Director of Marketing, and the Vice President of Enrollment. This gives me the opportunity to relay the information to the Enrollment Specialist. I also receive weekly emails from our compliance officer on the changes to the admissions policies.

Meetings are a very important part of my job. It allows my supervisor to inform me of any changes happening inside the institution as well as any regulatory changes that will affect our institution. It also allows other departments to come to us with any updates or policy changes that we need to project to future students. Meetings are also a great way to train new employees and build a team environment.

We have weekly meetings here. We go over the ins and outs of everything at our weekly meeting. The whole team gets together and we have further training, talk about our week, and stay up to date on policies, requirements, etc.

At our school, we have an interdepartmental meeting every two weeks where all departments get together and discuss important and relevant information regarding the school and its students.

We have multiple weekly scheduled meetings in order to make sure we are all on the same page. Meetings regarding product knowledge and enrollment status.

Meeting are a good time to keep the learning fresh.

We have weekly meetings within our department relating to training and admissions. I also am able to speak with my director regarding any topic to do with admissions policies or regulations, I also reach out to the education department and program managers to ensure that the information I tell my potential students is accurate and in compliance. I can even speak with my school director.

We have a weekly "Operations Meeting" to discuss any current issues, questions and suggestions for all staff members.

We also have a monthly "Admissions Meeting" to discuss changes and/or updates with our courses, books, financial aid options and marketing strategies amongst other things.

There are other meetings as well but the ones mentioned above are done consistently.

In my job, there is many motivational meetings. They do these in order to boost up those who feel down which helps us speak to our students with confidence.

Julius,

Very true! And in today's world, there is no excuse for not keeping up with change.

Jeanlu,

You are correct. It is very important to keep current with changing trends and regulations.

Erin,
Meetings are in excellent opportunity to see you where you've been and redirect to your common goals for recruitment. It is also an opportunity to share the experiences that you have had with your department.

Judy,

Daily meetings are common practice in admissions. It gives us a quick opportunity to bring the team together and work towards our shared goals.

Brian,

The state does work in tandem with national requirements. You are gaining valuable knowledge by attending those conferences and being prepared to keep your school compliant.
