My role as a representative has to also reflect the regulations put in place in order to make sure that the best interests of each student is addressed.

The Commission for Independent Education requirements keep my institution and me as an Admission Specialist within compliance. It's called accountability.

All the regulations and rules are important to know in order to offer an excellent service to our students.

The requirements from CIE directly affect how I perform my job. In the way I present information, whether it is by email, phone or face-to-face. The requirements make sure I stay current on the things going on in the school, and also to not leave any important information out.

CIE regulates an impacts our jobs in a very positive way due to the fact that they set the way we can perform our job by being in compliance at all the times, morally, legally, ethically.

It is very important to know the regulations,and every change in order to have an execellent perform.

It helps to keep me honest and not mistakenly mislead my prospective student.

Albeit regulatory requirements exist in protection of the consumer, our students, I work on establishing trust with my students. That trust is built upon knowledge and sharing it for the betterment of their future.

The admissions department is the first point of contact with students. Admissions staff must know and operate under all regulations governing the school in order to maintain the consumer protection mandated by CIE.
