CIE requirements are in place to protect students from the unfair business practices of some institutions as well as provide guidance for those school who plan to do the right thing.

The requirements for CIE’s help to ensure and improve to make sure we giving all the students the same information. And I am very careful to follow them to the "letter of the law".

The Commission for Independent Education gives us the proper guidlines to do our jobs, correctly. They set up the proper rules for every employee to conduct themselves in an ehtical, compliant matter.

CIE has really give me a lot of information. I'm new to this field and want to stay up-to date on the rules and CIE has really helped.

By following the requirements to the "T" - we are maintaining a consistent and informative resource in which the students rely on for accurate information.

The Commission's requirements regulate how I do my job as an admissions representative. My job's guidelines for recruitment, interview, and enrollment come directly from the CIE.

They dont directly affect how we perform our job. They do give us guidance on how to remain compliant in our job and if we do not remain compliant they can fine the company and the agent or admissions representative.

The Commission for Independent Education requires regular training for my position as an Admissions Representative. I am always learning best practices, policies and procedures to perform my job and responsibilities.

By following the requirements set by the CIE I ensure that I am staying up to date with all regulations and rules, and that I am also giving students the most up to date information regarding their education at our facility.

To tell the truth their requirements doesn't affect the way I am as an representative, they rules just help make my job easier. And it help to protect our students.

I think it gives me a better understanding of what is nessasary to explain to a prospective students or even current student, and that they receive all the information to make a decision on whats best for them.

Suzanne,
Rules can be changed at any time thoroughout the year. Statutes can only be changed once a year through the legislative process.

Patty Aronoff

Christopher,
