I attend weekly best practices meetings as well as industry wide annual meeting and smaller training events throughout the year.
I have quarterly face to face training. In addition, we have online training that we most complete every month or so.
We have student affairs meetings regularly to discuss upcoming events, prodedure updates or concerns .
In our weekly meetings we learn and also have fun..we make sure the staff is all in the same page as we plan the upcoming events such as orientation, student appreciation day etc.We have department meetings as well as Campus meetings.
Regular meeting for admissions is one way we keep all informed of what is happening currently, what to expect in the near future and gather new ideas how to best accomplish our goals.

Being a part of the startup of a new school, I have attended all of the planning meetings and participated in writing the catalog. I have attended FAPSC meetings previously with other schools and find them a great way help me stay current.
I attend the Commission meetings when possible and I also stay in touch with the commissions program specialist. She is great at notifying us of changes in the addendum. I also check the states website and look for any updates that are relevant to the school's
policies and procedures.

Meeting that we have involves keeping up with our continuing education credits, reminders on what information thats is needed from the prospective students, and must be kept in their files!
