Yes, a marketing campaign is essential to the success of an institution. However, to play devil's advocate for a moment, sometimes a marketing campaign can backfire. When institutions don't carefully consider the channels through which they advertise their programs, or consider the proper media mix, the money spent by the institution may not produce the proper return on investment. It is highly important for an institution to carefully evaluate what the best marketing approach is for their institution and seek expert opinions from outside consultants where necessary.

Having a powerful marketing campaign is essential and very beneficial to the institution; it is how leads are brought in. There should be more "creative" ways we are spreading the word!
