Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are standardized and apply to the course work and hours of the class. These fees are the same for all students and cannot be discounted for any reason.
Initially I thought the school I am working for created the "No Discount" policy within. I was surprised to read the every student is mandated via state regulations to pay the same tuition and fees, reassuring in the big picture.
I found this very interesting since there are schools who discount when someone pays cash. They found it legal because credit cards charge a transaction fee, so we are awarding the student for using cash.
I find this interesting considering in the past I have seen discounts applied if paying in cash and in full at the time of registration. Good information.
We work with several different funding agencys in three different states. Some agreements are different and can get very confusing. I keep a binder to make sure i am using the correct one.
